The Company
Our client, a well-established industry leader, is seeking a Payroll Officer to join their team in Sydney CBD on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and maintain accurate payroll records for all employees
- Ensure timely and accurate calculation of wages, benefits, and deductions
- Manage payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies
- Stay up to date with tax laws and labour regulations
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll processing (3+ years preferred)
- Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
