The Role
We are offering multiple permanent full-time opportunities for Personal Care Workers, to join our facility based in Tenterfield, NSW.
Personal Carers contribute to residents comfort and quality of life by providing safe, high-quality care in accordance with each resident's care plan.It is essential that you understand the residential aged care environment and standards and have a high level of empathy and compassion for our residents.
What you will do- The Personal Care Worker is responsible for ensuring:
- Positive resident experience through resident-first approach
- Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident’s needs and preferences.
- Completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts
- A collaborative, team approach
- Manual handling of residents is undertaken safely and correctly
- Feedback and incidents are reported
- Safe, high-quality care is provided in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or enrolled in same)
- Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
- Currently hold and maintain a NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
Commencement date: April 2025 to April 2029 (48 months)
Employment type: Full-time
Hours: 76 per fortnight
Pay rate: $29.39 - $33.68 per hour + 11.5% Super (based on experience)
Enterprise Agreement: Tenterfield Care Centre Limited (Classified as Care Service Employees from Grade 1 and up)
