• Prepare and analyse financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Process Payroll
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes accurately and on time.
• Reconcile accounts, ensuring discrepancies are promptly investigated and resolved.
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting activities.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and accounting practices.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Well drilled in processing payroll
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Previous experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within the Technology & Telecoms industry.
• Knowledge of current accounting standards and regulations in Australia.
