The Opportunity
Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Bar Manager is key in providing an authentic memorable Starward experience, showcasing our brand in a range of ways including in-store experiences and drink service, to tours and masterclasses.- Working the bar, mixing a range of sophisticated drinks and serving our guests ensuring exceptional presentation and consistency.
- Keeping up to date with the latest concepts and trends in hospitality and industry to ensure we continue to stay relevant.
- Lead the team to create seasonal drink menus that hero Starward and align with our philosophy.
- Manage costings for drink items to meet KPI targets and margins. Ensuring we maximise resources and minimise spending and waste.
About you
We’re looking for a passionate hospitality professional that want to be a part of an exciting and growing Australian whisky brand.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role and style venue. They will have a solid understanding and appreciation for cocktails and whisky, and a passion for service.
Being confident, organised and demonstrated communication skills will be paramount, with experience in all facets of venue operations including menu costing, stock control and drink creation.
A valid RSA will be required.
