Aged Carer

We are currently seeking a full-time Aged Carer to join our dedicated team of professionals. As an Aged Carer at Sri Om Care, you'll support elderly and disabled clients with their daily activities in their homes or residential settings, ensuring a safe, supportive, and enriching environment.

• Accompanying clients during daily activities, including attending appointments, going for walks, or participating in social events.
• Assisting with mobility, ensuring clients can safely move about their environment, including walking, standing, and transferring between locations.
• Preparing meals for clients, tailored to their dietary requirements and preferences, and assisting with feeding when necessary.
• Organizing and encouraging social and recreational activities to promote an active, fulfilling lifestyle.
• Performing housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and tidy living space.
• Assisting with personal hygiene and dressing, ensuring comfort and dignity in all personal care activities.
• Providing companionship, emotional support, and friendship, fostering a nurturing relationship with clients.
• Shopping and running errands to help clients manage their daily needs and responsibilities.

• Hold at least a relevant AQF Certificate II or III or equivalent, OR
• Have at least one year of recent and relevant work experience (two years preferred).
• Have strong communication skills, a compassionate and patient attitude, and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships with clients.
• Are able to assist with physical tasks, including mobility and personal care.
