World Wine Estates is a wine importer and distributor located in Chatswood. We import wines from France, Spain, Germany, Italy, New Zealand and also distribute premium Australian wines. Our sales team and distribution now extends from New South Wales into Victoria, South Australia, ACT, Western Australia, Tasmania and Queensland.

We're on the hunt for a Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Coordinator to join our team and help take our online presence to new heights. If you are a self-motivated worker who shows initiative and can solve problems independently and creatively, and who is enthusiastic about working within a hands-on, collaborative team atmosphere, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will be reporting directly to our Managing Director/Owner and you'll be responsible for managing our B2B and B2C Websites as well as implementing digital marketing strategies that will drive online sales across our companies and support brand awareness.

You'll be creating marketing and advertising materials, creating planned content for our social media platforms, website, and e-newsletters, and identifying opportunities to improve site key metrics like traffic, conversion, and AOV. Words like Mailchimp, Maropost, Shopify and WordPress are very familiar to you and you know how to deal with them.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you MUST have extensive experience with:
  • Shopify & Wordpress
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Square Space
  • Google Ads
  • WSET qualifications (at least level 1)
  • Klaviyo
  • Semrush
  • Hotjar
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • 4+ Years Experience in similar roles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan, develop, and execute marketing campaigns that align with sales objectives, showcasing the unique qualities of our wine portfolio to targeted audiences.
  • End-to-end daily management and optimization of Shopify and Wordpress e-commerce sites.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales and boost customer engagement.
  • Analyse & optimize website traffic and performance (using GA4, Semrush)
  • Monitor industry trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify
opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the online shopping experience, focusing on usability,
personalization, performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and emerging technologies to keep the
company at the forefront of eCommerce innovation.
  • Campaign reporting and optimisation
  • Manage product categorisation and navigation.
  • Optimise internal search, product meta data, filtering, and sorting to optimise user
  • experience and conversion.
  • Create and optimize landing pages to highlight products, promotions and support
  • campaigns.
  • SEO, SEM optimization
  • Manage and optimize other sales channels: Google Shopping, Vivino Marketplace
  • Execute & manage paid campaigns on Google Ads to drive high-quality traffic and generate
  • conversions.
  • Analyse campaign performance (CTR, CPA, CPL, ROAS etc.) and provide insights to optimise
  • Campaigns
  • Analyse consumer data and purchasing patterns, interpreting trends in wine consumption to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth in a competitive marketplace.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to explore demand for both new and existing wines, gathering and analysing data to uncover market opportunities and develop actionable insights.
  • Plan, create and schedule weekly email marketing offers to support sales representatives
  • Campaign & database growth reporting and optimisation
  • Update monthly wine portfolio/price list (InDesign)
  • Create promotional and creative assets for sales representatives and trade events
  • (handouts, wine lists, posters etc.)
  • Plan and execute campaigns (e.g., Special Offers, Black Friday, End of Season Sales)
  • Create & implement campaign assets, including banners, landing pages etc.
  • Build pages and collections within Shopify to support the campaign plan.
  • Configure, test and execute promotions.
  • Monitor campaign performance post-launch and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Conduct post-launch campaign performance reviews and provide insights to improve future
  • campaigns.
