Production Manager

Your Role

As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the end-to-end production process—from cnc machine cutting to final cladding assembly and finishing. You’ll manage a small but skilled team, maintain quality and safety standards, and help drive efficiency and continuous improvement throughout the factory.

• Plan and manage daily production schedules to meet customer deadlines.
• Supervise and support production staff across all shifts.
• Oversee cutting, folding, angling, and assembly of aluminium cladding panels.
• Maintain quality control and ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Monitor and maintain production equipment and machinery.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics to ensure material availability and smooth dispatch.
• Enforce WHS (Work Health & Safety) regulations in line with Australian standards.
• Drive process improvements to reduce waste and boost efficiency.
• Report on production output, downtime, and improvement initiatives.

• Proven experience in a production management role, ideally in aluminium or metal fabrication.
• Strong understanding of aluminium cladding processes and materials.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or job specs.
• Computer literacy, especially with MS Office.
• Relevant trade, technical, or engineering qualification preferred.
