About the Role

As the Membership Officer – Restaurants & Bars, you’ll be the first point of contact for members, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and engaged. You’ll play a key role in growing the membership base, enhancing retention, and delivering value through events and communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison for member inquiries and support
  • Coordinate onboarding and ensure members understand their benefits
  • Maintain accurate membership records and process renewals
  • Develop strategies for member recruitment and retention
  • Support the planning and delivery of member events and webinars
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and services
  • Represent the organisation at industry events and forums
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in membership, customer service, or stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Hospitality or tourism sector experience (desirable)
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, communications, or marketing (desirable)
  • A current Australian Driver’s Licence
