We are advertising on behalf of our client "Waterfront Tavern"

Salary: $76,000 - $78,000 plus Superannuation

Our client 'Waterfront Tavern' is looking for a Chef to join their growing kitchen team.

• Work with Head Chef to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly
• Maintain a positive, and professional approach with colleagues & clients at all times
• Arrive to your shifts promptly & sign on and off for shifts and breaks consistently
• Ensure that procedures set by Head Chef run in a professional and timely manner
• Rectify any issues arise in a professional manner
• Take direction from Head Chef and comply with company procedures
• Meet industry food and safety requirements and ensure kitchen is neat and tidy at all times
• Adhere to high quality food presentation standards
• Ensure meals are consistent
• Assist with monitoring equipment to ensure it is up to standard including serving items and safety concerns
• Assist with teaching and guiding junior kitchen staff.
• Determining food inventory needs, ordering and stocking
• Prepare and cook food based on recipe guidelines

• Relevant qualification/s
• Prior experience in a similar role/setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for cooking
