We are posting on behalf of our client Francesco’s Coffee & Bar(Galati) for the position of Cook.

The Cook’s primary duties are to prepare delicious meals according to our menu, following recipes and cooking procedures to deliver quality food in a timely manner. You will play a key role in maintaining high food safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safe food handling practices and maintain hygiene standards.
• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes, standards, and customer preferences
• regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
• May be required to train other kitchen staff and apprentices
• Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
• Ensure all food preparation areas and kitchen equipment are clean and sanitary
• Monitor food stock and place orders as needed
• Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and served at proper temperature
• Assist with menu planning and specials when needed
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Ability to follow recipes and take direction
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
• Food Safety Certificate

In addition, you shall also be required to work such other duties as are reasonably required by the Company from time to time and all duties ancillary to those initiatives.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
