Mechanical Engineering Technician

• Prepare drawings, plans and designs for mechanical engineering work under the direction of Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists
• Assist Mechanical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in the design of mechanical equipment and plant
• Assemble and install new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools and controls, and hydraulic power systems
• Estimating material costs and quantities, and machine requirements
• Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant
• Ensuring that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions
• Provide technical and sales support for capillary coil unit
• Maintain and develop maintenance schedule for all Slickline and Wireline equipment
• Assist in design and improvement of hydraulic equipment across all product lines
• Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of all black diamond equipment in usage/storage
• Assist Mechanic in Maintaining, repairing and manufacturing all systems, hydraulic / pneumatic / diesel / electrical.
• Assist team in Design mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
• Assist team to Prepare & draft system schematics
• Assist team to Prepare & draft 2d & 3d engineering drawings for 3rd party manufacturing requirements

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Engineering Technician
• Experience in Hydraulics and Capillary Coil
• Working knowledge of pneumatic plants

Remuneration will be based on the right candidate's experience. Job will be based in Bayswater WA and no remote work available. Roster is 38-40 hours per week.
