Maintain Technology Consulting is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives. In this role, you will leverage your extensive network and robust sales expertise to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand the company’s market presence in the SAP consulting space.
- Identify and target key sectors, including utilities and asset-intensive industries, to maximize engagement.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Engage with prospective clients through networking, conferences, and industry events.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and support throughout the sales process.
Proposal Development and Negotiation:
- Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, RFPs, and presentations to clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms for both the company and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with client needs and expectations.
Sales Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyze sales metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular updates and reports for senior management on business development progress.
- Set sales targets and work to achieve or exceed them consistently.
Collaboration and Team Leadership:
- Work closely with marketing, consulting, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior business development staff.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovative thinking.
- 8+ years of experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in the IT consulting sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of SAP solutions and the consulting landscape, particularly in utilities or asset-intensive industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on relationship management.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify market opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
