Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) ambition is to become Australia’s #1 International Retail Bank, to focus on the internationalist customer and to build a progressive bank for the future. This role will support HSBC Australia’s Wealth and Personal Banking business and will be responsible for requirements, design, change and implementation management. You will work collaboratively with delivery partner and subject matter experts in gathering, translating and clarifying requirements and defining design options.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Employs an improvement mindset to identify and define issues or problems that are less obvious, participates actively and constructively in brainstorming meetings where problems are discussed and/or resolved
  • Brings structure and order to undefined problems and/or large scale problems, making them easier to address and solve
  • Defines requirements management processes and designs detailed business solutions and structures based on business requirements
  • Manages the change implementation activities, including business readiness assessment, implementation pilot and actual implementation
  • Supports the programme management and re-engineering of processes, where process is one of the many parts of the change and provides detailed guidance on process design.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Finance and/or business-related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified
  • Extensive experience in gathering requirements and conducting design activity, with a mix of business, operations and technology focused projects
  • Excellent communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills with decision making and problem solving ability
  • Strong experience in delivering change into different audiences and managing implementation in banking environment.
Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
