What you'll be doing

The purpose of the position is to provide sterile and thermally disinfected medical and surgical equipment to all areas for use in patient care, in accordance with policies and procedures developed by NSW Health, SCHN and the Sterilisation Management

  • Able to work shift work 7 days Rotating roster
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO / Australian Standards and Infection Control Guidelines
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment & solve problems
  • Self -driven, team player and good interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed oral & written Communication skills
  • Understanding and ability to apply OH & S requirements
  • Experience in Hospital Sterilising Services.
  • Must have a Sterilising Certificate III NSW Health
