About the Position:
Ordering and managing food supplies
Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians, and staff
Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
Enforcing food hygiene and safety regulations
Training and mentoring kitchen staff as needed
Minimum Qualifications: Diploma of Hospitality Management
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, quality control, and maintaining high standards in every dish served. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for Italian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities: Planning menus in consultation with management
Estimating food and labour costsOrdering and managing food supplies
Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians, and staff
Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
Enforcing food hygiene and safety regulations
Training and mentoring kitchen staff as needed
Freezing and preserving foods when required
Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.Minimum Qualifications: Diploma of Hospitality Management
Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen
Excellent culinary skills, particularly in Italian cuisineStrong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
