The Role:
As part of the Business Maturity Program team at AP+, you will play a crucial role in driving process optimisation for our business. You will work with cross-functional teams to capture processes, identify areas for improvement, analyse current performance and compliance, before proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
As a Senior Process Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our Process Owners, to accelerate our business maturity journey.
Your proven ability to drive change in a complex environment, with a strong focus on collaborative improvement will be integral in streamlining AP+ operations, improving efficiency, and leading process change. You will work collaboratively with executive leaders, cross-functional teams and squads to identify, analyse, and optimise business processes, ultimately helping to achieve our strategic goals and enhance stakeholder satisfaction.
This is a 24 months max term contract role.
Proposed Role Responsibilities are:
- Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership in process management (capture to optimisation) to align with organisational goals;
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and validate process ownership, end to end process outcomes and process improvements that can contribute to long-term success;
- Lead Process workshops to validate ownership, identify end to end processes, assess AP+ process maturity and build roadmaps for process improvement;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and build a backlog of automations;
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate process improvements and project updates to stakeholders;
- Managing multiple process scopes in parallel and prioritise tasks effectively to support process owners as needed;
- Design effective process controls, map risks and obligations to ensure AP+ can display how it meets its regulatory requirements;
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by championing best practices and innovation throughout the organisation;
- Take reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others, comply with and implement any reasonable HSE instruction, and support AP+ to meet its duties under the relevant safety and environmental legislation.
Proposed Position Requirements are:
- Significant relevant experience: 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in business process management, improvement, optimisation or engineering or related roles;
- Demonstrated expertise in leading process improvement workshops, activities and delivering significant business impact;
- Proven ability to drive change in a complex environment, with a strong focus on collaborative improvement;
- Project management practices and tools (Waterfall/Agile, Jira) is desirable
- Certification in advanced process improvement or change methodologies (e.g., Black/Green Belt Six Sigma) is highly preferred;
- Good understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC or similar.
- Knowledge of Best practice/ reference models such as APQC, ITIL, COBIT etc.
