Legal Aid NSW is a state-wide independent government agency that helps people in NSW with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas of criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. About the role
The Senior Recruitment Officer is an exciting role to be in, as Legal Aid is transforming its approach to Talent Acquisition!
The Senior Recruitment Officer will be the central point of contact within the Talent Acquisition team, supporting the Talent Acquisition Business Partners by leading end-to-end recruitment activities ensuring your customer needs are being met whilst still promoting a robust and efficient recruitment process.As the subject matter expert in Talent Acquisition, you will assist in providing expert talent advice to internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest standard of recruitment services are compliant. Your contribution to development, delivery, and evaluation of recruitment and selection processes within Legal Aid NSW will play a vital role, achieving service outcomes.
About you
Your dynamic approach to talent acquisition is the epitome to achieving goals and objectives. With your experience as a recruitment professional, you portray excellent communication, work ethics and have a collaborative demeanor.
You can work autonomously and be a team player, whilst successfully meeting objectives. You convey great attention to detail and experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and with excellent organisation and time management skills you have been able to successfully achieve recruitment activities within set deadlines.
Experience in using Success Factors and SAPHR is highly desirable.
We will use this recruitment to create a talent pool for similar ongoing or temporary vacancies we have over the next 18 months.

The essential requirements for this role
You must:
- be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
- hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies)
The role ensures statutory compliance with relevant employment awards and legislation (the Government Sector Employment Act 2013), Public Service and Legal Aid NSW policies and procedures. Knowledge and experience in NSW Public Sector (or similar) recruitment is highly desirable.
