About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Child Care Worker to join our center. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the growth and well-being of children through engaging activities and hands-on care. As a valued team member, you will help create a welcoming, safe, and stimulating environment where children can flourish.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and provide quality care for children in a nurturing environment.
Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and creativity.
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized space for children.
Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development.
Assist children with their daily routines, including eating, dressing, and toileting, while promoting independence.
Supervise hygiene practices, including diaper changes and toilet training, ensuring the health and safety of children.
Build positive and trusting relationships with children, families, and team members.
Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and policies.
Assist in the preparation of materials and equipment for children’s education and recreational activities.
Manage children’s behaviour and guide their social development.
Prepare and conduct activities for children, entertain them by reading and playing games, and supervise recreational activities.

About You
To thrive in this role, you will:
Have a genuine passion for working with children and a strong commitment to their well-being and development.
Hold a relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
Demonstrate creativity, patience, and a nurturing approach to childcare.
Hold First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
