CASUAL DRIVING ROLE
Hanson are seeking a HR truck driver to join our team, driving a concrete agitator truck in Albury, NSW – 3.5 hours northeast of Melbourne. We are looking for a driver who is passionate about safety, results focused, reliable and have a strong work ethic.
This role is a casual role, with shifts ranging from Monday - Friday, including overtime and rostered Saturday work according to business needs.
In your new role with us, you will:
- Drive reliable and well-maintained equipment
- Slump and deliver concrete to our customer
- Operate and maintain a concrete agitator truck
This role is a great fit for you if you:
- Have a HR or HC or MC drivers’ licence (Agitator truck driving experience preferred but not essential)
- Current White Card or ability to obtain if successful
- Have a professional work ethic with a customer service-oriented attitude
- A mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems
- Have a high regard for safety policies and procedures
- Familiar with the Chain of Responsibility
What we offer:
- $36.13 for all ordinary hours, inclusive of casual loading
- Overtime of time and a half and double time based off standard rate of $28.91
- Start times generally from 6:00am
- Minimum hours p/week on average is 25, but can be up to 50 - 60 hours pending workload
- Rostered Saturday work when required - half day shifts finishing around lunch time
- Hanson 10-day agitator driver training program
