We are currently looking for two Disability Support Workers to work in the MOE area.

We are currently seeking experienced and committed Disability Support Workers to provide care and supervision during a variety of daytime and/or afternoon shifts (namely on weekly Mondays, fortnightly Tuesdays, fortnightly Wednesdays and weekly Thursdays).
You will need to be compassionate and empathetic with strong listening and communication skills to be successful and the ability to connect with people with behavioural challenges.
Qualifications & Experiences
Pay: From $30.00 per hour

This is an IMMEDIATE START position.
Applicants must be experienced with a responsible attitude. The successful applicant will be expected to have a good understanding of how to support individuals living with a disability. You must be passionate about helping others to maintain their quality of life and independence.You will need to be compassionate and empathetic with strong listening and communication skills to be successful and the ability to connect with people with behavioural challenges.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or relevant
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Driver licence
- NDIS Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Orientation online training (must be willing to complete this)
- Provide individualised support for our clients using a supportive and positive approach (including support in day to day activities, support with family, community outings, ... )
- Motivate and promote client independence
- Accompany client for community outings
- Assist the client with their emotional, psychological, cultural and spiritual needs
- Make sure our client is HAPPY!
