Job description

We are looking for a professional hairdresser for our barbershop located in Brisbane CBD. The barbershop provides all the equipment and facilities to perform the job. This position requires a great personal presentation to create trust with our clients which is our ultimate goal.

• Hair cutting and Styling: Perform haircuts and trims following the preferences of the customers.
• Shaving and grooming: Carry out shaves, beard trims and other facial hair grooming services.
• Keeping high hygiene standards. This includes personal hygiene and keeping the workstation and tools clean and sanitized.
• Following the Safety and Health Regulation.
• Registering and keeping track of the bookings: Accurately enter the bookings requested for customers and ensure that bookings are carried out on time.

Skills Required

• Great attention to detail.
• Plenty of knowledge of classic haircut styles and new trends.
• Excellent customer service.
• Fluid communication to understand customers' needs.
• High skills with the use of shaver machines and scissors.

Previous Experience Required

This position requires a minimum of three years of experience as a hairdresser.

Working Arrangements

We offer a full-time position (38 hours per week) and a salary between $74,000 and $78,000 per year (according to experience), plus superannuation. The schedule is an 8-hour per day shift, from Monday to Friday.
