Hairdresser/Barber

Full time permanent position (38 hours per week)

Vibe College is seeking a skilled and experienced hairdresser/barber to join our team. If you have a passion for the art of hairdressing and barbering, excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a strong attention to detail then this job is for you.

What you'll be doing:

Delivering expert haircutting, styling, and shaving services to male clients

Ensuring a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere in the barbershop

Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in the workspace

Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients

Providing hair cut services using various tools.

Staying up to date with the latest trends and techniques in men's grooming

Giving guidance on hairstyles, hair care & products.

Shampooing and washing hair.

What we're looking for:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a professional barber or hairdresser

Diploma in Salon Management

Certificate III in hairdressing and barbering

Expertise in classic and modern haircutting, styling, and wet shaving techniques

Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a personalised experience

Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of grooming

Enthusiasm for the hair and beauty industry and a passion for your craft
