Senior Security Analyst

Robert Half is working with one of their trusted clients to find an experienced Senior Security Analyst. This role is crucial in protecting the organisation's IT systems, digital assets, and networks from cyber threats. You'll be responsible for proactively identifying risks, implementing security controls, and ensuring the resilience of the company's cybersecurity landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls across the organisation.
• Manage security tools, including firewalls, SIEM, DLP, identity & access management.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and threat modelling.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, breaches, and vulnerabilities.
• Work with a managed SOC to investigate threats and improve security operations.
• Enhance DevSecOps practices to minimise the threat landscape.
• Stay ahead of cybersecurity trends and implement proactive security measures.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and best practices (ISO27001, NIST, Essential 8, MITRE ATT&CK).

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years' experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or threat intelligence.
• Strong experience with vulnerability management, SIEM solutions, and security event monitoring.
• Expertise in cloud security, automation, and modern network technologies.
• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and mitigation strategies.
• Background in DevSecOps and cybersecurity governance is desirable.
• Relevant qualifications in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
