About The Role – M365 Architect

We are seeking a M365 Architect who is passionate and curious about the Microsoft stack and enhancing business productivity through the convergence of people and technology. You must be committed to always delivering value, invested in continuous learning and excited to be part of a knowledgeable, forward-thinking team.

As a M365 Architect, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing M365 solutions for our clients. This includes a proven track record of standing up and designing Microsoft solutions for clients based on experience blended with best practice including networking, security, privacy, cybersecurity, resource management, monitoring and cost management considerations i.e. provision of authoritative governance and strategic oversight on the effective use of M365 services, aligning them with business objectives and compliance standards.

  • Entra
  • Exchange
  • SharePoint solution design covering both administration and development capabilities.
  • Expert PowerShell user and have experience with SPFx Framework for SharePoint Online development using languages such as TypeScript, ReactJS, PnP Framework, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, JSON, REST
  • Development of a user-friendly intranet and related protocols, procedures, and training materials
  • Analysis of an organisation's needs in order to design solutions and implement them in the SharePoint environment
  • Integrate SharePoint with other software systems and platforms, creating a seamless work environment
  • Define how data will be stored, archived, managed and organised in SharePoint
  • Governance of access & data to prevent data loss
  • Promoting a digital-first culture by delivering high-quality information products that streamline core business practices and meet compliance requirements. Including assessment of new feature releases to automate or enhance business activity.
  • Ensuring that cybersecurity measures are integrated into all solutions and products
  • Developing and maintaining information architecture frameworks
  • Providing architecture and security assurance across our solution designs and implementations
  • Supporting our teams with technical leadership and advice, insights and capability uplift

Your expertise will help us ensure that we deliver leading value driven solutions that are scalable and secure.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • 6+ years’ business or consulting experience
  • 6+ years’ experience in advanced administration or preferably with the design of Microsoft productivity and modern work solutions
  • The ability to interpret technical & business requirements and translate them into technical solutions & architectures
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across diverse end-user scenarios
  • Experience of information management frameworks
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks and best practices and information security regulations & compliance requirements e.g. GDPR, ISO27001, Essential Eight etc
  • Strong understanding of identity management
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages and cloud technologies
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools
  • The ability to think "outside the box"
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage conflicting priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication & collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead and manage engagements through to the delivery of business value
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or Solutions Architect with a strong understanding of the Microsoft Azure platform especially as it relates to modern work solutions
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications
  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus e.g. CISSP, CISM
