ICT Sales Representative

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven ICT Sales Representative to join our Melbourne team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective clients, promoting our comprehensive range of ICT solutions, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

This role requires a proactive approach to sales, market awareness, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of basic Bill of Materials, including owning the creation and distribution of Deal ID’s and customer pricebooks.
  • Acquire and update knowledge of Outcomex’s and competitors’ ICT goods and services, as well as market conditions.

Visit regular and prospective clients to identify and act on selling opportunities.

Uncover prospective client businesses using trade directories and other sources.

Work with the distributor and Vendor Reps to submit Deal ID’s and obtain required approvals, with the goal of provide pricing and quotes to customers quickly and accurately.

Promote Outcomex’s ICT products and services to existing and potential clients. Whilst also assessing customers' needs and explaining the goods and services Outcomex provides to meet their needs.

Provide quotations, negotiate prices and credit terms, complete contracts, and record orders.

Update and maintain CRM hygiene.
  • Processing of contracts and legal documents, to be executed and saved in Sharepoint.
Arrange for the delivery of goods, installation of equipment, and the provision of services. This can include assisting the Project Management team,
Preparing sales reports on completed sales and the marketability of ICT products and services, and report these to sales management. Whilst also maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred.
  • Owning and completing agency reporting.
  • Assist with invoicing queries, coordinate between customers and accounts payable.
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction, arrange modifications if needed, and resolve any issues.
  • Working with the renewals team to coordinate on-time renewals with customers.
  • Assist with coordinating events as required, including attending work events.

Requirements:

Previous experience in ICT sales or a similar role is preferred.

Strong understanding of ICT products and services.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.

Self-motivated with a target-driven approach to sales.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
