Construction Rigger

One of our client Hawk-Eyes, based in Salisbury North, SA have few vacancies for different positions. These are full-time roles in telecommunication industry for right applicants. This position is for Construction Rigger. Please apply for these roles, if you think, you have the skills and experience.

• Assembling and installing rigging gear such as cables, ropes, pulleys, and winches to lift, lower, move, and position equipment.
• Installing and maintaining equipment like antennas, cables, and other telecommunications infrastructure on towers, masts, and other structures.
• Performing routine maintenance on existing telecommunications infrastructure to ensure it remains in optimal condition.
• Implementing and adhering to safety protocols to protect workers and the public during installation and maintenance activities.
• Ensuring all rigging and installation activities comply with industry standards and regulations, such as those set by occupational safety authorities.
• Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the installation or maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure.
• Providing technical support during the installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment, ensuring that mechanical systems function correctly.
• Working closely with other technical staff, including electrical engineers and network technicians, to ensure the successful installation and maintenance of telecommunications system.
• Keeping detailed records of installation and maintenance activities, including documentation of any issues encountered and how they were resolved.

• Confident Working at Heights on all telecommunications infrastructure
• AQF Certificate II or III, or at least one year of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 4)
• Certificate Course in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Telecommunication.
• Experience working on green field tower and monopole construction projects including civil construction.
• Construction, installation and maintenance of Guyed Masts advantageous.
• Carrier inductions for Optus, Telstra, TPG, NBN, Indara.
• Current HRWL with Dogging and Rigging tickets (intermediate or advanced rigging preferred)
• Current EWP ticket (over11m).
• Current Working at Heights / Tower Rescue Ticket.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Construction Industry White Card.
• Ability to work away from home when required.
• MR or HR truck licence preferred but not essential
• Manual Drivers Licence
