Full Time Sports Development Officer

SALARY $90,000 p.a. plus Superannuation

• Design and implement sports development initiatives to enhance participation and athletic performance.
• Identify promising talent and provide mentorship, training, and growth opportunities.
• Organize and oversee competitions, events, and training programs to engage the community.
• Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and sports organizations to optimize development programs.
• Create and deliver customized fitness and sports programs aligned with the gym’s mission.
• Conduct research and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of sports initiatives.
• Identify and secure funding, sponsorships, and partnerships for sports programs.
• Track and assess program success, implementing improvements where needed.
• Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and industry regulations.
• Work with the marketing team to increase community participation and awareness of sports programs.

• Relevant qualifications in health and physical education, sports coaching, sports development, or a related field.
• Minimum of one to two years’ experience in coaching or sports development, preferably in gymnastics or dance.
• Availability to work weekends and occasional split shifts.
• Ability to adapt coaching methods to cater to different skill levels and learning styles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate, engage, and inspire athletes of all levels.
• Passion for sports and physical activity, with a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive training environment.
