Assistant Accountant | Temporary | 2 months
The Company
Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant to start immediately on a 2-month temporary contract.
The position has become available due to an increase in workload as the business head into their busiest time of year. You will be joining a well-respected employer of choice in their industry, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
With an outstanding office location in the heart of the CBD, you will also benefit from the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.
The Role
Working within a friendly team environment you will support the Senior Accountant with the following activities:
- Preparation of general ledger journals, accruals, and reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations (Daily)
- Assist with financial reporting activities.
- Checking EFT payment batches (local and international).
- Providing support to the wider accounting team as required
Your Profile
To be successful in this role you will have 2 years demonstrated previous experience in a similar role. You will have excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively with both patients and internal team members.
You will need to be systems savvy and be able to pick up new and complex systems quickly. You will need to be able to commence at short noticed and be prepared/able to travel to their offices in the CBD 3 days per week.
