Technical Risk in Change - Contract

Our well-known financial services client is looking for a Technology Risk in Change advisor for large scale Technology Risk transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various business and technology stakeholders to grasp the potential risk implications of the new system.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential technological and process vulnerabilities.
• Implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and continuously monitor their effectiveness.
• Develop and embed risk management policies and procedures throughout the system implementation process.
• Participate in all phases of the system transition, focusing on risk mitigation and management.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditing teams for pre/post implementation reviews and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Use expert knowledge in technology risk management to provide guidance to project teams.
• Regularly report to senior management on risk profiling, control effectiveness, and remediation progress.
• Previous exposure to Azure Cloud essential.

This is an immediate start contract role for a 6 month assignment, with the view to extend due to project scope

Based in Sydney CBD office.
