• Oversee daily operations of the hospital retail store and food & beverage services.
• Ensure a well-organised shopping environment and smooth service delivery.
• Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and hospital regulations.
• Implement effective merchandising and display strategies to drive sales and enhance customer experience.
• Supervise food safety, hygiene, and supplier coordination to ensure quality and consistency.
• Recruit, train, and lead a team across both retail and hospitality, promoting a culture of excellent customer service.
• Create staff schedules to ensure smooth operations.
• Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Track sales performance, manage budgets, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and business growth.
• Prepare reports on sales, expenses, and overall performance for review.

Qualifications/Attributes:

• Must hold a Diploma or higher qualification in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience) or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of the qualification.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in retail and/or hospitality management (experience in both is a plus).
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in inventory management, sales reporting, and POS systems.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and retail compliance standards.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
