Job Description:
As a senior member of the team at King Clarence, you will be working very closely with Khanh Nguyen and you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our exceptional reputation.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Demonstrating expertise in adhering to NSW regulations related to health, safety, and compliance, including a strong understanding of HACCP management.
  • Calculating costs and liaising with suppliers
  • Directing kitchen operations and managing kitchen staff
  • Overseeing the food preparation, cooking and cleaning processes
  • Delegating tasks and resolving issues as they arise
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations
  • Liaising with the general manager to ensure operations run smoothly
  • Ensuring all ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards
  • Vigilantly monitoring portion control and waste reduction
About You:
If this is the right role for you, it is essential that you have previous experience in a similar, ideally a fast paced, hatted restaurant.

You must be able to display strong technical skills while at the same time communicating effectively with all stakeholders.

You will also display the following attributes: Creativity and a strong understanding of local, seasonal produce

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

  • Tips

Experience:

  • Kitchen: 5 years (Preferred)
