Job Description
  • Effective management of the payroll function, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Perform reconciliations of payroll accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Provide support to team members in payroll-related inquiries.
  • Compliance with all relevant legislation and standards in the FMCG industry.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate payroll audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and payroll files.
  • Continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Part-time Payroll Officer should have:

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and legislation.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
