Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of an innovative Council seeking to make a positive difference in the community you support? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Library Assistant to join our team.
Located on the lower North Shore, Council's new library branch has opened in the vibrant St Leonards precinct.

About the Role

This role will assist in the provision of quality customer service at Lane Cove and St Leonards Libraries. You will be assisting in delivering Storytime and Baby Bounce sessions, School Holiday programs and special events.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications and experience;
Demonstrated commitment to the provision of high quality customer service;
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment;
Demonstrated storytelling skills;
Current "Paid Worker - Working with Children Check" clearance (NSW);
Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.

Salary range - Up to $83K per annum (pro rata) (incl super) dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate.
