The Opportunity

As an Internal Communications Specialist, you’ll work alongside a talented team of Internal Communicators who partner across the Woolworths Group to create better experiences for our team - in store, on site or in our support office.

You’ll be the key contact and partner for our NextGen Retail team, supporting engagement across our Strategy, Transformation and Advanced Analytics teams. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging content to communicate our group wide strategy, helping our team understand our transformation and designing interactive communication plans to accelerate AI adoption across Woolworths Group.

What you'll do
  • Executing the Internal Communications strategy and acting as a point of contact for our National and Business Leadership teams within the Woolworths Group
  • Keeping our teams informed through a multichannel approach, including online, print, video and internal social media
  • Developing cohesive communications plans, that inform, involve and inspire and support teams on key events, change initiatives, product launches and other projects
  • Build and deliver senior leadership forums, meetings and events to ensure our leadership teams are aligned on key strategies and priorities
  • Helping our store teams understand business objectives and how they contribute to our overall results
What you'll bring
  • Passionate about Internal communications and team experience.
  • A flexible approach to work that supports our teams. As we’re in retail, we work a rotating roster to support our teams in our stores, who work across the 7 days of the week (rostered days off are absolutely available to offset any weekends!)
  • Experience in partnering with senior leaders, positively influencing showing agility and adaptability
  • Thrive on tight deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Have the ability to articulate solutions and take a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving
  • Is known for having a strong, positive personal brand that is customer-centric
