What you will do?:
- Prepare and cook high-quality restaurant meals and pizzas using traditional techniques and fresh ingredients
- Prepare dough, sauces, and toppings following traditional Italian recipes
- Hand‑stretch dough, top, and cook pizzas to perfection
- Strong understanding of Italian cuisine with a passion for cooking with fresh ingredients to create authentic flavours
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and kitchen cleanliness
- Manage stock, rotate ingredients, and minimise waste
- Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
- Collaborate with and assist kitchen team members
More about you:
- 1-2 years' experience working as a pizza chef or in an Italian Restaurant
- Diploma in Professional Cookery, or equivalent
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate is beneficial
- Ability to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day-a-week roster
