Brisbane - Boilermaker / Fabricator
Road Trains of Australia (RTA) is a major privately owned transporter in Australia and prides itself in having over a decade of experience in safe & dependable transportation of livestock, petroleum and bulk commodities throughout the north of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland in their fleet of 90+ prime movers.
RTA are currently seeking a fully qualified Boilermaker to join the business on a full-time basis in various depots across Australia. As a Boilermaker you will maintain our equipment to ensure it is roadworthy.
As a Boilermaker at RTA your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Steel Fabrication and repairs of Heavy-Duty road trucks
- Maintain completed work records to an acceptable standard
- Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations and the company's policies & procedures
The successful candidate will have:
- Trade qualifications as a Boilermaker
- A valid HR/MC license (desirable but not essential)
- Willingness to undertake and clear a full Medical & drug & alcohol fitness assessment
- Provide Rights to work in Australia
- National Police Clearance
- Great attention to detail, taking pride in your work
Depending upon experience the successful candidate can be paid between $38 per hour to $55 per hour, plus 11.5% superannuation.
