We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in the funds management industry, looking to make a significant impact by supporting our distribution team in increasing funds under management.
The successful candidate will have the chance to work with various teams, drive strategic sales activity, and provide exceptional service to our boutique partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the distribution team with preparation and collation of sales analytics on an ad-hoc, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Respond to ad-hoc client requests via phone or email in a professional manner
- Collaborate with marketing teams for the execution of marketing campaigns targeted at adviser networks
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the distribution team, including regular interactions and ad hoc requests
- Assist in achieving national sales targets through lead follow-up of sales activities in line with service strategy
- Drive strategic sales activity for allocated accounts and boutique funds
- Engage in account and relationship management with clients
- Support the distribution team with administrative tasks as required
Key Requirements:
- Degree qualified
- 2-3 years of experience, ideally with an understanding of Private Markets
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Keen interest in the funds management industry
- Ability to build strong lasting relationships
- Strong organisational skills and proactive team member
- High proficiency of MS suite of programs and Salesforce CRM Management
- Pardot/Sales Engagement experience highly advantageous
- Self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Able to work equally well in a team environment and independently.
