Position Overview
The Contract Administrator will be responsible for managing, negotiating, and maintaining contracts related to Melbourne Building Management's diverse operations. This includes overseeing contractor agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards, and collaborating with internal teams to support operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management: Prepare, review, and administer contracts for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Vendor and Contractor Liaison: Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers, including issuing work orders and resolving contractual disputes.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of contracts, agreements, and amendments. Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and industry standards. Stay updated on relevant legislation affecting building and facility management contracts.
Support Operations: Work closely with building management staff and caretaking teams to ensure seamless service delivery and address contractual issues.
Budgeting and Cost Management: Assist in budget preparation and manage contract-related expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.Process Improvement: Develop and implement best practices for contract management processes to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Law, or a related field.At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within the building management, facilities management, or construction sectors.
Strong understanding of contract law and regulatory requirements.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
