Job Description

This position includes:

• Manage and oversee the accounts payable, corporate card and banking sectors of the shared services department.
• Prepare and present financial reports and statements.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
• Implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal financial regulations.
• Participate in strategic planning and budgeting processes.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the public sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with direct experience in a leadership/management role.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
