Contract - Operational Risk Specialist

Robert Half Financial Services are working well known insurance firm looking to hire a

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's operational risk management framework in compliance with CPS 230 requirements.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize operational risks across the organization, particularly those related to health insurance operations.
• Design and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the likelihood and impact of identified risks.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential operational risks, including those related to processes, systems, and external factors.
• Collaborate with business units to evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend enhancements where necessary.
• Monitor emerging risks and ensure they are promptly addressed within the risk management framework.
• Prepare and present regular reports on operational risks to senior management, the board, and regulatory bodies.
• Track and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) to ensure ongoing compliance with risk appetite and tolerance levels.
• Ensure that all operational risk incidents are documented, analyzed, and reported according to established protocols.
• Assist in the investigation and analysis of operational risk incidents, ensuring that root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
• Support the development of incident response plans and contribute to the enhancement of the organization's incident management capabilities.
• Facilitate post-incident reviews to capture lessons learned and improve operational risk practices.
