To maintain our high standards, we are looking for a passionate, skilled, and experienced full-time (minimum 38 hours per week) Chef to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
- Develop innovative menu items and adapt dishes to meet customers' dietary needs.
- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a high standard of food preparation and cleanliness.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control stock levels to minimize wastage.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to source fresh and high-quality ingredients.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Tandoor and Curry chef in a professional kitchen, preferably with experience in Indian cuisine.
- A relevant diploma in culinary arts or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management, food safety, and hygiene practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Passion for delivering high-quality food and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
