Key Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct fieldwork, including survey planning, logistics, and health and safety with both internal and external teams.
Utilise knowledge of botany for plant identification in fieldwork
Provide technical input for scopes of work and manage consultants during field operations
Perform data analysis and assist with the preparation of technical reports and documents
Manage GIS data and support mapping projects
Offer advice to internal stakeholders with guidance from the Ecohydrology Team

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Environmental Science, or a related field
Strong background in Botany, Ecology, and/or Hydrology
Experience with GIS software
5+ years’ experience as an Eco Hydrologist
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
C Class drivers licence
