Full Time Employment - Painter and Decorator (Painting Trades Worker)

Position Details:- Erect Scaffolding and ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering
- Preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces
- Selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives
- applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays.
- Cleaning equipment and work areas
- The role is accountable to the company owner and may involve liaising with a range of stakeholders
To be eligible for this Role, the applicant must:
- Have a minimum of 3 years painting experience
- Have a thorough knowledge of paints and varnishes
- Have a thorough knowledge of filter types, their application and preparation for painting
- Be willing to work a 38-hour week plus limited overtime as required
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently as required
The successful candidate must be someone who prides themselves in producing high quality work with good interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude. They must be capable of multitasking, organising tasks and can work unsupervised.

Remuneration: $70,000 - $90,000 a year dependent on skills and experience.
Remuneration will reflect market conditions and industry award rates.Remuneration can be negotiated with the successful applicant at the interview stage.
Sloanebuilt Trailers offers regular overtime based on the Company’s needs, overtime is additional to the above income range.
