Product Leadership Strategy (PLS) Manager

What's the role?

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Product Leadership Strategy (PLS) Manager is responsible for the development, communication and implementation of product marketing plans.

What does the role involve?
  • Develop and realise strategies for Hilti Australia in close co-operation with the Head of Marketing and the Divisional Sales Managers.
  • Implement market sensing activities for better business understanding.
  • Realise targets and agreed goals within the planning process.
  • All activities related to: Value Creation and Management, Product Life Cycle Management, Market Segmentation and Penetration, Competition Analysis, Growth and Increasing Market Share.
  • Managing a team of 6 Product Managers across multiple product lines.

What you need is:

  • Marketing and Product Management Experience within the construction & power tool industry
  • Masters Degree plus tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Engineering
  • Sales experience in the construction & power tool industry
  • Ability to lead a team of Product Managers
  • Ability to manage several different stakeholders within the business - close liaison with Engineering, Sales & the Executive Management Team
  • Passion and enthusiasm for the role & a desire to grow & develop your career
