The following guidelines are set out for you to understand the expectations of you in your role as a chef of Mediterranean Caffe Ristorante.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining a clean and safe food environment. You will need to have a passion for cooking and leading a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, including meats, vegetables, and desserts
• Develop and implement new recipes and menus
• Manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring junior chefs
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
• Order and manage kitchen supplies and inventory
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Work efficiently and effectively during peak periods
• Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to achieve culinary goals

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as a Chef or Senior Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent cooking and presentation skills
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Creativity and innovation in menu planning and presentation
