About the Role:As Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction. You will manage workflows, establish standard operating procedures, and maintain vendor relationships.
Reporting to the Rooms Division or General Manager, you will have full authority over personnel actions and play a key role in achieving departmental goals within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily housekeeping operations and staff supervision
- Create schedules, task sheets, and manage attendance/rostering
- Inspect rooms/public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards
- Liaise with Reception on room status and guest needs
- Manage stock, supplies, and monthly inventories
- Recruit, train, and performance manage housekeeping staff
- Maintain safety standards and compliance with hotel policies
- Foster a positive team culture and guest-focused service
- 1–3 years supervisory/management experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of housekeeping operations and safety procedures
- Ability to manage budgets and deliver cost-effective results
- Professional grooming and guest service focus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
