We serve traditional Sunday lamb roasts to cocktail classes, Athenian style High Tea's and a variety of wine and dine nights which is so much more than your regular Greek restaurant. We are looking for a Qualified Chef de Partie with Greek Cuisine experience to join our team.

We are offering $70,000 - $80,000 + super
You will be required to; • Assist the Head Chef and the Business Manager with duties as directed- Check freshness of food and ingredients
- Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
- Implementation of a high standard of training for any new staff as and when required and OH&S inductions;
- Being directly responsible for the efficient performance of duties;
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers
- Develop recipes and determine how to present the food
- Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible and raise new ideas for any new products;
- Plan menus and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals
- Keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
- Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies needed to ensure efficient operations
- Provides guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating
- Works with head chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunities
- Other duties as assigned
