Talent Right has partnered exclusively with FoodFlo for the appointment of a Senior Sales Executive based in Melbourne responsible for managing effective account management of existing clients and developing new business opportunities both locally and nationally.

The Job:
This is a newly created role to take over the responsibilities from the Sales Director as demand requires “feet on the ground” in Australia to service the existing and ever-growing client base. It is critical that you are a true sales professional who is focused on delivering exceptional account management to existing customers while driving new business opportunities across FoodFlo and Duke & Co.The role requires a combination of strong relationship-building skills and strategic sales capability with a commitment to achieving growth with key clients and increasing revenue generation and profitability.
Whilst you will conduct most of your work from the office via phone, email, and virtual meetings there will be travel required up to 3 - 4 days per month both on the road regionally or flying domestically to meet with clients, deliver samples, and discuss new products and promotional campaigns.
You will be following up with customers systematically in relation to new products/projects and ensuring all new leads are actioned seamlessly with discovery calls/meetings and providing proposals/quotes in a timely manner with the support of your Inside Sales Executive who is based in NZ.
Your success will be measured on activity, from the calls you make, meetings you book, proposals sent and leads generated to secure new deals and contracts. You will have the full support of the team based in Head Office (NZ) with daily sales huddles, weekly one-on-ones with management and regular communication with the wider Sales and Marketing team.

- Business Development. Generate and follow up on leads through cold calling, conducting discovery meetings, and providing timely proposals and quotes with the support of the Inside Sales Executive based in New Zealand.
- Financial Acumen and Compliance. Support budget and forecast development, review financial reports to drive profitability and ensure adherence to ethical standards and social responsibility.
- Operational Excellence. Understand customer needs and market dynamics, enhance systems and processes, and address challenges while identifying growth opportunities.
- Market and Brand Positioning. Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry developments to position FoodFlo as a leader and identify expansion opportunities.
- Team Collaboration. Assist in recruiting and onboarding staff, collaborate with production teams to ensure product quality, and maintain seamless coordination across departments.
Benefits
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior sales or account management role, preferably in the food manufacturing or related industry.
- Experience with budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes.
- Ability to travel domestically as required.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and presentation skills both virtually and in person.
