Job Description

As the Head of Finance you will manage the financial operations for the Australian and New Zealand subsidiaries, offering commercial, strategic, and operational financial leadership. You will bring a solid combination of controllership experience, complemented by operational excellence, commercial acumen, and strategic vision.Other key responsibilities will include the following:

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely monthly management reports, annual financial reports, and ensure compliance with local and group standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Lead the budgeting, monthly 12-month rolling forecast, and long-term strategic planning processes.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and business recommendations to support decision-making across the organisation.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting, driving continuous improvement in processes and systems.
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and capital expenditure budgeting.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align financial goals with the company's strategic objectives.
• Manage and mentor the finance team, promoting a high-performance culture focused on excellence and accountability.

• CA/CPA qualified with previous experience working in a similar hands-on position within the FMCG or manufacturing industry
• Strong experience preparing and submitting accurate and timely monthly management and annual financial reports in alignment with both local and group standards (IFRS/GAAP)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional operational teams
• Previous ERP experience and advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience in small-to-medium-sized businesses is an advantage
