Auto Vibe is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join their dynamic and professional team. Your day to day will see you conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and determine required repairs.You will conduct routine servicing including oil changes, filter replacements and fluid checks, all while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised workshop.

Key Responsibilities:- Perform mechanical diagnostics on a wide range of light vehicles using advanced tools and technology.
- Conduct quality service and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, clutches, suspension, exhaust systems, and electrical components.
- Carry out scheduled vehicle servicing, including oil and filter changes, fluid top-ups, and general safety checks.
- Use diagnostic equipment to detect and resolve complex mechanical and electronic faults.
- Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs and ensure optimal performance.
- Install automotive accessories as required (e.g., dash cams, reverse cameras, Bluetooth systems).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with WHS procedures.
- Liaise with service advisors, parts suppliers, and other technicians to ensure seamless workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time taken for each job.
- Certificate III or IV in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent Australian-recognized qualification.
- At least one year of hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, fault-finding, and repair processes.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Valid Australian driver's licence.
